My Content Channel is a publishing tool for content managers. It enables you to publish content on the go using a mobile or laptop. 


With My Content Channel, you can publish messages made with your company's presentation and turned into pdf files.

You can also

  • publish pictures and videos, 
  • create simple messages
  • schedule, delete and archive pdf messages, pictures and videos.

To publish messages with My Content Channel you need a publishing link. 

Look for an email from no-reply@valota.live with a title "Your access link to _ _ _"  

This link is your personal publication tool that can be used from a laptop or a mobile device. 


How to publish digital signage content with My Content Channel: 


CREATE A POST USING YOUR COMPANY'S PRESENTATION TOOL

Using your company's presentation tool, eg. MS Powerpoint, you'll get the company look & feel to all of your messages without a hassle. 


  1.   Start by creating your message with the presentation tool. 
      Your presentation can include several pages, i.e. multipage functionality is supported

      Best practise is to have max 250 characters in a page and 6-8 pages per presentation at max.  


  2.   Save the presentation in PDF format


  3.   Select correct channel from My Content

    All available My Content channels can be found from the drop-down tool:


  4.   Add your presentation by clicking the grey area around the text CHOOSE YOUR MEDIA

    Note! 
    Do not add anything to the Text area if your whole message is included in the presentation. 
    Text added with My Content will take half of the info displays content area. Everything you wish to say should be included in your presentation.


  5. DISPLAY TIME


    This setting determines how many seconds one slide will appear on the screen.

    Leave DISPLAY TIME to the default setting or adjust according to your preference. With multiple pages, you can adjust presentation time for each page separately.

    By leaving DISPLAY TIME empty your post will be shown using default setting; usually 10 seconds per post or with videos according to the length of the video.






    6.  SCHEDULE


    Set the Schedule by selecting the start date and time and /or the end date and time.


     


    By default, your post will be shown on the next content cycle and it will be automatically removed from the cycle after the needed amount of the newer posts*) have been published.

    *) Setting Number of posts displayed on the My Content Channel is exceeded. Read more from the article My Content - Activate and use



    7.  Check from the PREVIEW that your post is looking good and  SEND 




SEND A MESSAGE ON THE GO

 

  1.  Open My Content from your Mobile

  2.  Select correct channel from My Content



  3. Choose your media

    Add an image to add power to your message.
    Images help your audience to notice individual messages and link the text to it's context.


    NOTE! 
    When you have a finished message as a video, a pdf or an image file jump over the steps 2. Title and 4. Add text to your post 

    With videos, DON'T ADD any title or text to your post.

  4. Enter the TEXT



  5.  DISPLAY TIME
