In case your display is not functioning properly you might need to reboot the media player (Chromebox).
Typical case when you might need to reboot the media player is when the display is not showing old content as it is not updating itself. During such an issue the media player is not connected to Valotalive. This can be verified from the Valotalive Management in the DISPLAYS tab by looking at the On/Off button which is red (see example picture below)
How to Reboot the media player
- Locate the Chromebox.
A black box attached to the display with HDMI cable. It is placed near the screen, max couple of meters away from it.
- Press down the power button
Wait for 15-30 seconds
- Press down the power button again.
- Wait for couple of minutes more. Your messages will start to flow to the screen.
In case your screen is showing Waiting for content please check that you have assigned content flows to the screen.
